Okan "Quotes" from Indos last night.

"Once is fine, twice is tradition"
"I was totally in love with this girl for two years. I slept with other girls but I didn't cheat on her. I didn't get their phone numbers."
"Mash Bash"

Can't remember the other ones... Anyone else?

A sad little song...

This is a sad little song by a group called The Weepies. I don't know much about them but this song is great. It is rather sentimental, but it's been one of those weeks so you will have to forgive me. Anyway enjoy, oh and if your feeling a little glum and melancholic (Christmas is a time for many things...introspction being one of them) have a little cry and I hope you feel better soon.

Tower Hamlets plans Theme Park for 2012

Le Chapel Blanc Park

To many of us Whitechapelers there is no real grass area in the neighbourhood apart from Whitechapel Park (that's the park opposite Tesco). This park holds the Guinness world record for having more alcoholics per square meter than any other park in the world.

However, recently, secret Government Tower Hamlets documents were found on the number 25 Bus between KFC (where Whitechapel officially begins according to Donna) and the A&E Ward.

Here are few scans of the plans to be ready for the olympics.

oh there's my mum.

Sausages, Women & Beer

These sausages were from Cumberland.
The beans, Heinz.
The toast, formerly bread (not pictured), was from Sainsbury's.

Women are a band from somewhere in the Americas.

The beer was Kronenburg (tops).

In other news:
The Pride Of Spitalfields had a new carpet fitted overnight.

And finally: I think we could all learn something from this video:

I am going to be leaving Le Chapel...just for a little while.

I will miss INDO.

When I Google imaged the title of this post this is the picture that came up. Thus this is the place i am going to. It looks far enough away for me.

So bye bye and see you soon...

Who needs a job when you can blog? Pt. 2 (Tips and Advice for the unemployed Whitechapleon)

It's easy to get down on life when you've been out of work for a while. Self esteem and motivation can take a beating, and one can quickly find that negative thoughts and lethargy create a vicious cycle that has the potential to send you spiraling in to a pit of despair and depression.

So here are a few simple ideas to help with the inexorably expanding darkness that is eating away your insides:

1. Get out of the house and see the world.

Ben and I took a trip out of our beloved whitechapel and set off on our way to Borough Market

2. Don't let minor set backs get you down.
We were supposed to change at Moorgate but we missed our stop and ended up in Barbican

3. Rejoice in all your triumphs, no matter how small

We made it to Moorgate.

4. Stare Death directly in the face.
Face your fears and do something you are afraid to, the sense of accomplishment will boost motivation and banish your blues.
(!!!visual metaphor!!!)
5. Get drunk in the day.
This is an oldie but a goodie. A classic staple of unemployed well-being well worth reiterating.
We went to INDO, obviously.
