Who's a silly boy then...
With the announcement today that the interest rate has been cut by another half percentage point, taking it to 1.5% - the lowest in the central banks 300 year history I have decided to do something a little silly...loose my job. Again. So for the second time in as many months I am unemployed. Today has seen a depressing little trip being made to the Tower Hamlets One Stop Shop that deals with housing benifit and tomorrow I must keep my appointment at the Job Centre. Yesterday I 'signed on', something, and I am not meaning to sound up myself, I never thought i would have to do. Thus my facrcical life continues apace. Happy New Year? Bollocks.
People have a skewd view of the unempolyed, that they lay about and rinse the benifit system. I wasn't setting a very good example yesterday when a quite pint at Indo turned into a night of drugs and booze and listening to nineties piano house classics. Though I dont think I am being entirely fair on my self as I have also been catching up with some good TV from BBC4 (iPlayer is a dream) as well as Masterchef and my guilty pleasure Top Gear. I havn't done anything like look for a job though...that is clearly a waste of time. There are none and we're all screwed. Happy New what??

Okan "Quotes" from Indos last night.
A sad little song...
This is a sad little song by a group called The Weepies. I don't know much about them but this song is great. It is rather sentimental, but it's been one of those weeks so you will have to forgive me. Anyway enjoy, oh and if your feeling a little glum and melancholic (Christmas is a time for many things...introspction being one of them) have a little cry and I hope you feel better soon.
